We are seeking an experienced developer to create a tool that automatically identifies and connects a trading terminal to the lowest-latency broker access server. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows, networking, and MetaTrader. This part-time role is expected to last 1 to 3 months and offers a flexible schedule. # Developer Needed: MT4/MT5 Lowest-Latency Server Auto-Selector We are looking for a developer to build a Windows tool for MT4/MT5 that automatically detects and selects the broker access server with the lowest latency. Example: * Server A: 0.36 ms * Server B: 2.26 ms * Server C: 147.78 ms Even after manually selecting the 0.36 ms server, MetaTrader may reconnect to another server. We want the tool to detect this and keep the terminal connected to the lowest-latency server whenever possible. ### Main Requirements * Detect available MT4/MT5 broker access servers * Measure latency to each server * Identify the server currently used by MetaTrader * Automatically prefer the lowest-latency server * Detect when MetaTrader switches to a slower server * Reconnect or redirect it to the preferred server where possible * Periodically rescan latency * Support failover if the preferred server is unavailable * Simple Windows GUI and logs ### Phase 1 We first want a proof of concept showing that you can: * Detect all available broker access servers * Identify the server currently connected * Measure their latency * Reliably influence or control which access server MT4/MT5 uses This is not just a ping-monitoring project. The key requirement is controlling or influencing MetaTrader access-server selection. Experience with C++, C#, Windows networking, TCP/IP, MT4/MT5, MQL4/MQL5, or low-latency trading infrastructure is preferred.
