Woodworking CAD Designer Needed — Modular Workshop Plans

We are building a new UK premium woodworking plans brand focused on practical workshop furniture and organisation systems. We are looking for an experienced woodworking CAD designer to help develop an initial range including: Table Saw Workbench Basic Mobile Workbench Miter Saw Station Rolling Lumber Cart Modular Workshop Storage This is not simply a 3D rendering job. We need someone who understands how furniture and workshop equipment is actually constructed. Required deliverables may include: Accurate 3D CAD models Construction-ready dimensions Exploded diagrams Component numbering Cut lists Material / hardware lists Assembly drawings Plywood cutting layouts Clear technical illustrations suitable for professional DIY woodworking plans Experience with woodworking, cabinetry, workshop furniture or DIY construction plans is strongly preferred. The products will form part of a modular workshop system, so we want someone capable of developing reusable construction principles and CAD standards rather than simply drawing unrelated products. Designs must be original. Reference products will be provided for understanding functionality and customer needs only. To apply, please provide: 2–3 examples of your most relevant woodworking/furniture projects. An example of a cut list or material list. An example of exploded or assembly drawings. The CAD software you use. Whether you can design properly for both UK Metric and US Imperial stock sizes. Your approximate turnaround time for one complete workbench plan. Technical question: A mobile workbench needs to accommodate different table-saw models while keeping the saw table perfectly flush with the workbench top. Briefly explain how you would approach the adjustable mounting system. There is an immediate paid test project for shortlisted designers. Successful collaboration can develop into ongoing work across the complete product catalogue.
