Summary

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress Developer to help us finalize and launch a website project. The core site is fully built in WordPress and currently sits in a staging environment. Our previous developer had to step away right at the finish line. In addition to launching the site, we need an expert to integrate two service-based products that feature a recurring subscription model. This will involve linking a cloud-based service to the site and setting up a secure Stripe payment gateway for user checkouts. This is a project-based role with a clear, defined scope of work. Key Responsibilities Staging-to-Production Migration: Safely move the completed WordPress website from our staging environment to the live production domain, ensuring zero downtime. Product & Stripe Integration: Add two service-based subscription products to the site. Integrate Stripe to handle secure, recurring billing transactions. Cloud Service Connection: Integrate the backend cloud-based service into the website so users can access/utilize the service after purchasing. Blog Component Setup: Add a functional blog component to the existing WordPress layout. Content & Link Updates: Update a specific list of text content and internal/external links across the site. Training/Handover: Provide a brief, clear walkthrough (via a recorded Loom video) showing our team how to update content and easily add/edit blog posts moving forward. Required Skills & Qualifications WordPress Expertise: Strong experience working with WordPress core, themes, and e-commerce configurations. Payment Gateway Integration: Proven experience setting up Stripe, specifically for recurring subscription models and user management. API / Cloud Integration: Experience connecting external cloud-based services or APIs into a WordPress ecosystem. Migration Experience: Clean track record of migrating sites from staging to production without breaking assets or database links. Clear Communication: Ability to explain technical workflows simply for the handover process.
