WordPress Developer Needed for Ongoing/As-Needed Maintenance (2 Sites)

We're a remote recruitment/staffing company looking for a reliable WordPress developer to handle ad hoc edits and maintenance across two existing WordPress sites. This is not a full-time or fixed-retainer role — we need someone we can call on as needed for updates, fixes, and small changes, with reasonable response times when something comes up. Our Environment: We manage two WordPress sites: Site 1 (main site): Elementor-based, ~40 active plugins including Wordfence Security, Yoast SEO, Advanced Custom Fields PRO, AffiliateWP, Contact Form 7, WP Rocket, and a few custom-built plugins specific to our recruiting workflow. Site 2: Smaller Elementor-based site (Stratus child theme) with Formidable Forms, Custom Post Type UI, and other supporting plugins. Slightly behind on core, theme, and plugin updates. Both sites are hosted on BigScoots, sit behind Cloudflare for DNS/SSL/security, with domains managed through Namecheap. What We Need Help With: Ad hoc edits and small feature/content changes on either site Plugin, theme, and WordPress core updates — always tested on staging before going live Troubleshooting issues as they arise (broken layouts, plugin conflicts, performance issues) General WordPress/Elementor comfort — familiarity with Cloudflare and BigScoots-style managed hosting is a plus but not required What We're Looking For: Solid WordPress + Elementor experience Comfortable working within an existing, established plugin stack rather than starting from scratch Clear communicator, responsive within a reasonable window (we'll discuss expected turnaround) Available for occasional urgent fixes, though this is not a 24/7 on-call role References or portfolio examples of similar WordPress maintenance work Engagement Structure: We're open to discussing hourly rates for as-needed work.
