Job Title: WordPress Website Developer for Local Service Business — SEO, Speed and Mobile Focus I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a clean, professional website for a local service business. I do not need an overly complicated custom design, excessive animations or unnecessary features. My priorities are strong website structure, mobile performance, fast loading speed, local SEO fundamentals, clear calls to action and complete ownership of the finished website. Project scope The website will likely include approximately 6–8 pages, such as: - Home - About - Individual service pages - Individual location pages - Results/testimonials - Clinics or programs - Contact The final structure will be determined with the selected developer before work begins. Required deliverables - Professional WordPress website - Mobile-first, responsive design - Lightweight theme and page builder - Easy for me to update after launch - Clear calls to action, contact forms and clickable phone numbers - Unique page titles and meta descriptions - Proper heading structure and clean URLs - Image compression, filenames and alt text - Internal linking between relevant pages - XML sitemap - Google Search Console setup and sitemap submission - Google Analytics setup - Contact-form and phone-click tracking - Appropriate LocalBusiness schema - Basic indexing checks after launch - Speed optimization and Google PageSpeed testing - Basic security, spam protection and backups - Administrator access and website training - At least 30 days of support for problems related to the original build Installing Yoast, Rank Math or another SEO plugin alone will not be considered complete SEO. I understand that no developer can guarantee Google rankings, but I expect the technical and on-page SEO work included in the proposal to be completed correctly. Content Please clearly state whether original copywriting is included or whether I will need to provide the text. Any service or location pages must contain useful, original content. I do not want duplicate pages where only the city or service name is changed. I will provide business information, logos and available photos. Please explain whether image editing, stock images or additional graphics are included. Ownership and recurring expenses I must receive full ownership and administrator access to: - WordPress - Domain and hosting - Website files and content - Google Analytics - Google Search Console - Themes and plugins when transferable All themes and plugins must be legitimate and licensed. Please disclose any annual costs for hosting, themes, plugins, security or maintenance before the project begins. Ongoing maintenance should be optional. The website must remain functional if I choose not to retain the developer after launch.
