Wordpress Technical Assistant

I’m seeking a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress Technical Assistant to provide ongoing support across two active websites: MarioMcKenzie.com — a personal brand and long-form content website focused on publishing, SEO, and audience growth Soulcraze.com — a creative platform with membership and gated-content functionality This is primarily an execution-focused role. I will provide clear instructions and priorities, and you will be responsible for implementing updates accurately, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a clean user experience across desktop and mobile. This is not an entry-level WordPress position. You should be comfortable working independently on live production websites without disrupting existing content, layouts, integrations, or functionality. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Complete WordPress updates, fixes, and technical optimizations Build and edit pages using Elementor and/or the WordPress block editor Update themes, plugins, menus, widgets, and site settings Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, formatting issues, and broken functionality Review updates for desktop, tablet, and mobile responsiveness Improve page layouts, spacing, formatting, and usability Format and publish blog articles Add and update internal links, buttons, forms, and calls to action Complete SEO-safe edits involving headings, URLs, metadata, and page structure Troubleshoot membership, registration, login, and gated-content issues Work inside hosting dashboards when backups, staging, caching, or technical troubleshooting are required Test completed work before confirming that a task is finished EMAIL AND NEWSLETTER PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS Hands-on experience with both Beehiiv and MailerLite is required. You should be able to: Connect WordPress forms and embedded signup forms Create or update forms, lists, groups, and audience segments Manage basic email automations and subscriber workflows Troubleshoot signup, tagging, confirmation, and email-delivery issues Ensure forms display and function correctly across site pages Verify that subscribers are being added to the correct platform, list, or automation Maintain clean integrations between WordPress, Beehiiv, and MailerLite REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong practical experience managing WordPress websites Experience working safely on live production sites Proficiency with Elementor and/or the WordPress block editor Experience managing themes, plugins, forms, and hosting dashboards Demonstrated experience using both Beehiiv and MailerLite Strong troubleshooting and quality-control skills Ability to follow structured written instructions Clear and responsive communication Reliable availability for recurring task-based work Strong attention to detail PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Basic understanding of on-page SEO Experience with membership or gated-content websites Familiarity with website speed and performance optimization Experience with caching, image optimization, backups, and staging environments Ability to identify technical risks before making changes Experience supporting personal-brand, publishing, or content-driven websites WORKING RELATIONSHIP Ongoing, part-time contract Flexible schedule Task-based workflow Clear priorities and instructions provided Work may range from small updates to larger page or integration projects Opportunity for a long-term working relationship based on reliability, communication, and quality of execution HOW TO APPLY Please include the following in your proposal: A brief summary of your WordPress experience Confirmation that you have worked directly with both Beehiiv and MailerLite One or two examples of WordPress websites you have supported A description of the specific work you completed on those websites Your weekly availability Your preferred hourly rate Your typical response time for new tasks Please begin your proposal with the words “Two-Site WordPress Support” so I know you reviewed the complete posting.
