# Webflow Developer — WordPress Migration & Template Build ## Project Overview We're migrating a nonprofit website WordPress to Webflow. The project goal is to build out the core Webflow framework and a set of initial page templates based on our existing WordPress sitemap and content architecture. ## Scope of Work - Review existing WordPress site structure, sitemap, and content types - Recommend if Webflow template or build from scratch architecture will be used - Utilize organization branding guide for design - Utilize organization Webflow workspace - Review Business Requirements Document that outlines architecture - Set up Webflow site architecture: page hierarchy, CMS Collections, and reusable components/symbols - Build a defined set of initial page templates (exact count to be finalized, expect 6–10), that meet brand guidelines including: - Homepage - Standard content/interior page - Blog/news post template (CMS-bound) - Location/center finder page (supports ~175 locations — CMS-driven, filterable/searchable) - Medical Professionals landing page - Donation/fundraising landing page - Ensure fully responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints - Help with integrations - Build to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards (semantic structure, contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text handling, focus states) - Set up clean, editor-friendly CMS Collections so non-technical staff can manage content going forward - Document component/style structure so we can hand off cleanly to internal staff or future contractors - Ensure SEO and AEO tools are established ## Out of Scope - Full content migration from WordPress (copy, images, media library) - Ongoing maintenance/support ## Requirements - Demonstrated expertise in Webflow (portfolio required — please include 2–3 live Webflow sites you built, ideally with CMS Collections in use) - Experience migrating sites from WordPress to Webflow specifically - Strong understanding of responsive design principles (not just "it doesn't break," but genuinely well-considered mobile layouts) - Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements and how to implement them in Webflow - Experience with Webflow CMS Collections, including structuring fields for filterable/searchable directories (relevant to our location finder) - Comfortable working from a sitemap, content inventory, and stakeholder input rather than a full pre-built design file - Clear, responsive communicator — we work iteratively and give direct feedback ## Nice to Have - Experience with nonprofit or association websites - Experience with CRM/donation platforms - Experience with introducing Webflow to a new organization, and training staff ## Deliverables - Live Webflow site (staging/preview) with approved page templates built out - CMS Collections structured and ready for content population - Brief documentation of structure/components for internal handoff - Editor walkthrough (async video or live call) for how to manage content once templates are approved ## Timeline - 4 weeks ## To be Considered Please include: - Links to 2–3 live Webflow projects, ideally including at least one WordPress-to-Webflow migration - A brief note on your approach to structuring CMS Collections for a location-based directory (~175 entries) - Your availability and estimated timeline and effort in hours for the project as scoped above
