Workday FDM Data Specialist

We are seeking a Workday FDM Data Specialist to support a key HCM transformation. This is a specialist role focused on ensuring the organisation’s data structures are set up correctly from the outset - aligned to reporting, governance, and integration needs. You’ll work across Finance, HR, and Technology, helping shape how data is structured, managed, and used across the Workday environment. What You’ll Be Doing: -Design and configure Workday FDM structures (cost centres, worktags, hierarchies) -Work with stakeholders to translate reporting and business needs into data structures -Support data migration and mapping activities -Validate and test FDM configuration -Maintain clear documentation of data structures and decisions -Provide guidance on data governance and best practices About You: -You’re someone who understands that getting the data right upfront matters, and you’re comfortable working across both detail and design. -Hands-on experience with Workday FDM configuration Strong understanding of data structures and hierarchies Experience supporting data migration or transformation activities -Comfortable engaging with both Finance and HR stakeholders -Structured, detail-focused, and methodical in your approach Nice to Have: -Workday certifications (HCM, Financials, Reporting) -Experience in complex or enterprise environments -Exposure to reporting tools or analytics Working Hours: This role requires availability during Western Australian business hours.
