Wowza streaming server ddos attack security

We are looking for an experienced Network Security / DDoS Mitigation Specialist with strong Wowza Streaming Engine experience to urgently investigate and secure our live streaming server. Our Wowza streaming server appears to be under attack. We are experiencing suspicious traffic/activity and believe it may be a DDoS or similar network-level attack affecting our streaming service. What We Need The selected expert will be required to: Investigate the server and determine whether we are actually experiencing a DDoS attack or another type of attack. Analyse network traffic, server logs, Wowza logs and connection activity. Identify the source/type of malicious traffic where technically possible. Determine which ports, protocols or Wowza services are being targeted. Implement appropriate DDoS mitigation and traffic filtering. Configure or improve firewall rules and rate limiting. Block malicious traffic without unnecessarily blocking legitimate viewers. Review Wowza Streaming Engine security and configuration. Check RTMP/RTMPS, HLS/HTTPS and other relevant streaming endpoints for vulnerabilities or abuse. Secure unnecessary exposed ports and services. Review server/network configuration for vulnerabilities. Recommend and, where agreed, implement additional upstream DDoS protection if required. Ensure legitimate users can continue watching streams reliably. Set up appropriate monitoring/logging so future attacks can be detected quickly.
