Writer for a mountain-biking article

We are looking for an outdoorsy writer with a unique voice to write a piece about mountain-biking. This piece is about how mountain biking can help riders, new or experienced, to discover things about themselves. The story should pair a particular aspect of self discovery with a destination where you can find great mountain biking, and the story should cover a minimum of five biking locations. Two regions that need to be mentioned in this piece are Middle Tennessee and Arkansas. Below are a couple of examples of how you could pair the destination with self-discovery. Example 1: Middle Tennessee is dominated by cross-country and singletrack experiences. This could pair with presence, focus or consistency. Example 2: Arkansas offers trails with progression options, allowing riders to experience the trails based on their own level of competency. This could pair with confidence, growth or courage. Our magazine is a well-respected, nationwide road-trip and adventure travel magazine, distributed in print every two months. Our audience is aged between 18 and 44 primarily, and they want quirky, interesting stories—not run-of-the-mill travel articles.
