YouTube Ads Manager + Shorts Editor for U.S. Subscriber Growth
Worldwide
I am looking for an experienced YouTube Ads Manager and Short-Form Video Editor to help grow The Practice Growth Show, a YouTube show created for healthcare providers. I already have an editor who produces the completed long-form episodes. Your responsibility begins after the finished episode is delivered. Your two main responsibilities will be: Turning each long-form episode into strong YouTube Shorts Running YouTube advertising campaigns designed to increase qualified, U.S.-based subscribers This is not a basic social media posting role. I need someone who understands the difference between generating cheap views and building a relevant audience. Primary Goal The main goal is to grow a qualified U.S. audience for the show, including: Chiropractors Medspa owners Functional medicine providers Regenerative medicine providers Longevity providers Other cash-pay healthcare professionals I am not interested in reporting large numbers of inexpensive views if those viewers are not relevant to the show. Success will be measured by subscriber quality, audience location, watch time, returning viewers, engagement, and overall channel growth. Short-Form Video Creation For each completed long-form episode, you will create approximately 5–7 short-form videos. You will be responsible for: Finding the strongest moments from each episode Creating YouTube Shorts and social media clips Adding clean, accurate captions Formatting videos vertically for mobile Writing or improving the opening hook Removing unnecessary pauses and slow sections Making each clip understandable on its own Adding an appropriate call to action Creating alternate hooks for strong clips when testing makes sense I do not want random clips selected simply because they are short. Each clip should contain a hook, with a complete idea, useful lesson, strong opinion, mistake, story, or surprising insight. YouTube Advertising Hands-on experience running YouTube campaigns through Google Ads is required. You will manage two separate advertising strategies. 1. Low-Cost Video-View Campaigns These campaigns may target selected English-speaking international markets to: Generate inexpensive views Test video performance Increase initial visibility Build social proof These campaigns must remain separate from U.S. targeting. Cheap views are not the primary measure of success. 2. Targeted U.S. Campaigns These campaigns will focus on attracting relevant healthcare providers in the United States. The goals include: Qualified U.S.-based subscribers Increased watch time from the correct audience Returning viewers Engagement from healthcare professionals Growth of remarketing audiences Greater awareness of The Practice Growth Show You will be responsible for: Creating and managing YouTube campaigns through Google Ads Duplicating and updating successful campaign structures Testing Shorts, full episodes, hooks, audiences, and placements Keeping international and U.S. campaigns completely separate Creating remarketing audiences Retargeting video viewers and website visitors when appropriate Identifying which videos attract the strongest subscribers Monitoring cost per view, subscriber growth, watch quality, geography, and engagement Stopping campaigns that generate cheap views without meaningful results Making clear recommendations based on performance Ensuring campaigns comply with Google Ads policies YouTube Publishing and Optimization Experience with YouTube channel management is preferred. Responsibilities may include: Uploading and scheduling finished episodes Creating strong titles Writing video descriptions Adding chapters Writing pinned comments Adding end screens and cards Organizing playlists Writing titles and descriptions for Shorts Reviewing click-through rate and viewer retention Recommending improvements to titles, hooks, and thumbnails I may have a separate thumbnail designer, but you should be able to recommend thumbnail concepts and text. Weekly Deliverables For each completed long-form episode: Create approximately 5–10 Shorts Write titles and captions Upload or schedule the Shorts Optimize the completed long-form episode Identify the strongest videos for paid promotion Manage the low-cost international campaign Manage the separate U.S.-targeted campaign Provide a brief performance update Recommend what should be tested next Ideal Candidate You should have proven experience with: YouTube advertising through Google Ads YouTube video-view campaigns U.S. audience targeting Remarketing and audience creation YouTube subscriber-growth strategies YouTube Shorts Short-form video editing YouTube analytics Titles, hooks, thumbnails, and retention Educational, healthcare, coaching, or expert brands Experience with GoHighLevel, conversion tracking, and healthcare advertising compliance is an advantage. Important This position requires both advertising and content skills. Do not apply if your only strategy is purchasing inexpensive international views. I need someone who can explain: Why a campaign generated views Whether those viewers were relevant Whether subscribers came from the campaign Where those subscribers are located Whether they continued watching What should be changed next You may apply as an individual or as a small team, but clearly explain who will manage the advertising and who will edit the Shorts. Initial Paid Test The first project will likely include: One completed long-form episode Approximately 5–8 Shorts One low-cost international video-view campaign One separate U.S.-targeted campaign Campaign management and optimization for 7–14 days A final report with recommendations If the test performs well, this can become an ongoing monthly position. To Apply Begin your proposal with the word: Pancake Then include: YouTube channels you have helped grow Examples of Shorts you created from long-form videos Examples of YouTube or Google Ads campaigns you personally managed Results you achieved How you would use inexpensive international views without confusing them with qualified U.S. growth The Google Ads campaign types you would test first How you would determine whether an ad is producing quality subscribers Your price for the initial test Your proposed ongoing monthly fee What you would need from me each week Generic proposals will not be considered.
