YouTube Channel Manager & Growth Strategist for Mortgage Education Channel

I am a licensed mortgage loan officer and I run Mortgage Simplified on YouTube, an education-first channel for first-time home buyers, VA borrowers, and homeowners. The channel is early: a small subscriber base and a handful of videos. I already have someone who edits my videos. What I am missing is someone who decides WHAT we publish and WHY, then owns the channel's growth. This is a strategy and channel-ownership role, not a pure editing role. You would work alongside my editor. WHAT YOU WOULD OWN - Topic and keyword strategy for long-form video: a rolling list of validated ideas, each tied to a search term with real demand and a realistic chance of ranking for a small channel - Packaging: titles and thumbnail concepts or briefs, then iterating based on click-through rate - Publishing and on-page work: descriptions, chapters, tags, end screens, cards, playlists - A Shorts strategy that actually funnels viewers into long-form - Competitor tracking in the mortgage and real estate space - A monthly report on CTR, average view duration, impressions, traffic sources and subscriber growth, and what you are changing because of it - Guidance on improving my recording quality. I have had ongoing problems with audio and picture quality and want real recommendations on mic, lighting, camera settings and workflow, not filters applied at the end. - Turning viewers into mortgage leads: calls to action, description links, and a clear next step for the viewer WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR - Channels you have actually grown, ideally with YouTube Studio analytics to back it up - Someone who explains their reasoning rather than listing services - Comfort with a US finance and real estate audience and with compliance limits.
