YouTube Content Strategist

YouTube Content Strategist / Viral Video Researcher – Gaming Channel I'm looking for a YouTube Content Strategist/Researcher to help grow my long-form gaming YouTube channel. The primary focus is Call of Duty but will play other games. This is NOT a video editing position. I'm looking for someone who understands how to research YouTube, identify high-potential video ideas, analyze outlier videos, and turn that research into video concepts with strong titles and thumbnails. Responsibilities: Research YouTube for high-potential video ideas in the Call of Duty/gaming niche Find "outlier" videos, especially videos from smaller channels generating significantly more views than their subscriber count or normal channel average Use tools such as vidIQ, Google Trends, YouTube Search, and other research tools Analyze competitors and emerging trends Conduct keyword and search-volume research Identify low-competition opportunities Explain WHY a video/topic appears to be performing Develop original video concepts based on the research Provide multiple title options for each recommended video Develop thumbnail concepts for each video Analyze successful thumbnails/titles in the niche Help develop the opening hook/angle for each video Review performance of published videos and use the data to improve future ideas What I'm Looking For You should understand: YouTube outlier research YouTube CTR and thumbnail psychology Titles and packaging Audience retention Search vs Browse/Suggested traffic Keyword research Gaming/Call of Duty content How to spot trends BEFORE they're completely saturated I'm not looking for someone who simply generates AI video ideas or sends a list of generic Call of Duty topics. Every video idea should have research/evidence behind WHY you believe it has potential. Example Deliverable For each video idea, I'd like to receive: Video Concept: Brief explanation of the video. Why It Could Work: Examples/data from similar videos or current trends. Outlier Examples: Links to 2–5 relevant videos and information about their performance. Keywords: Primary keyword + related keywords/search opportunities. Title Options: 3–5 potential titles. Thumbnail Concept: Description/reference for how the thumbnail should look. Opening Hook: Suggested first 15–30 seconds of the video. Priority: High / Medium / Experimental To Apply Please send: Examples of YouTube channels you've helped grow. Screenshots/results if available. The research tools you use. Your experience with vidIQ or similar tools. Three outlier videos you've recently discovered in the gaming niche. Explain why you believe those videos performed well. One video idea you would recommend for a Call of Duty creator right now. Please do NOT send a generic copy-and-paste application.
