Summary

I’m looking for high-quality YouTube script writers who are knowledgeable and passionate about movie and TV show franchises. This will be a long-term position. The channel produces explainer-style YouTube videos covering the stories, characters, lore, history, timelines, and other aspects of popular movie and TV franchises. IMPORTANT: No AI-Generated Scripts. I am specifically looking for writers who do not use AI to write their scripts. I want scripts written by someone who actually understands the franchise, can research and organize information themselves, and can produce engaging writing that feels natural and human. You should be very knowledgeable about the franchises you write about. Some videos will be relatively straightforward, such as explaining the basic story, characters, or concepts of a franchise to someone who isn't familiar with it. However, other videos may go extremely deep into the lore, chronology, characters, events, and details of a franchise. For those videos, I need a writer who already has a strong understanding of the material and can accurately explain complicated information. The ability to take a complicated franchise and make it easy and entertaining for a general audience to understand is extremely important. The writing should be: * Engaging and entertaining * Easy to follow * Accurate and well-researched * Detailed when the subject requires it When applying, please provide a list of the movie/TV show franchises that you are extremely familiar with and would feel comfortable writing about. Don't just list franchises you've heard of. I want to know which ones you actually know very well. Most scripts will be approximately 2,500–4,500 words. Occasionally, I will make much larger videos covering something like the entire history, story, or timeline of a franchise. These projects can be enormous and may potentially require 20,000–50,000+ words. These extremely large projects will be rare. The vast majority of the work will be in the 2,500–4,500 word range. When applying, please tell me: 1. How much do you charge for a typical 2,500–4,500 word YouTube script? 2. How much do you charge for a very large 20,000–50,000+ word script? Also, please send examples of scripts you have written in the past that are as similar as possible to what I'm looking for. Thank you!
