YouTube Scriptwriter & Clip Researcher

We're looking for a YouTube Scriptwriter & Clip Researcher to join our long-term team, focused primarily on funny moments and entertainment content. What you'll do Spend most of your time researching and sourcing high-quality clips Find funny, underused clips that competitors haven't overused Identify proven clips and rank them based on potential Write simple, high-retention scripts around the clips Create strong hooks for the first 30 seconds Add narration only where it improves context, pacing, or monetisation Deliver production-ready work on schedule What we're looking for Experience writing or researching for YouTube Strong understanding of retention, hooks and viewer psychology Excellent research skills and an eye for genuinely funny moments Experience with entertainment, commentary or funny-moment content is a plus Reliable, consistent and able to work independently Someone who can already deliver at a high level with minimal guidance Important: This role is roughly 90% clip research and 10% writing. If you enjoy hunting for great clips more than writing long scripts, you'll be a strong fit. Pay No fixed budget. We're focused on ROI and results.
