YouTube Scriptwriter for Tech & Heavy Machinery Channel

We’re looking for a reliable and creative YouTube scriptwriter for an English-language channel focused on heavy machinery, extraordinary vehicles, construction equipment, engineering, and innovative technology. The videos are approximately 8–10 minutes long, with scripts of around 1,350–1,500 words. What We’re looking for You should be able to take a video title or topic and turn it into a complete, well-researched and engaging script. Research is a very important part of this job. We don't want scripts that simply list specifications or describe what a machine can theoretically do. Whenever possible, We want the script to connect the technology to the real world. For example: Instead of only explaining what a machine is capable of, tell us about a real building, tunnel, bridge, mine, construction project or other documented situation where it was actually used. These real-world stories should make the technology more interesting and tangible for the viewer. Your responsibilities · Research suitable machines and technologies based on the provided title · Find interesting and reliable technical facts · Find documented real-world applications and projects whenever possible · Verify important specifications and claims · Write engaging mini-hooks for the different sections · Explain technical information in an easy-to-understand way · Write in natural, fluent English suitable for voiceover · Keep the pacing interesting throughout the video · Provide the main research sources separately The script should feel informative, entertaining and visually engaging, not like a Wikipedia article or technical datasheet. It is also important to select topics and examples for which real footage is reasonably available, as the scripts will later be turned into videos using real footage. Style The videos should combine: · Technology + real-world applications + interesting facts + storytelling + curiosity Each machine or technology should feel like a new mini-story rather than another item in a list. No unnecessary introductions, no channel promotion and no calls to action are needed.
