YouTube Scriptwriter for Trading/Fintech Channel

We’re looking for an exceptional YouTube scriptwriter to help write long-form videos for a channel covering trading tools, copy trading, automation, and retail-trader education. This is not a typical content-writing position. We do not want generic introductions, rigid YouTube templates, AI-sounding narration, or the same structure repeated across every video. Our process starts with a proven outlier reference video in the trading or adjacent niche. Your job is to understand why that video worked—its hook, pacing, teaching progression, proof, curiosity, transitions, and closing—and creatively adapt that format to our topic using original language and verified evidence. What You’ll Write Most scripts will be approximately 15–25 minutes and may include: Complete product tutorials Evidence-led case studies Educational trading videos Live experiments and demonstrations Free course explainers Top-of-funnel videos built around retail-trader problems and goals What We Need From You You should be able to: Reverse-engineer successful YouTube videos from their transcripts Preserve the reference video’s underlying structure without copying its wording Develop materially different structures for different videos Write strong hooks that immediately fulfill the title and thumbnail promise Build curiosity and information progression throughout longer videos Turn complicated trading or software concepts into simple spoken English Write around real screenshots, product footage, user evidence, and demonstrations Distinguish historical results from promises or expected outcomes Maintain accuracy without making the script dull or overloaded with disclaimers Write conversationally without manufacturing slang, filler, or fake reactions Revise effectively from direct founder feedback Trading experience is helpful, but excellent research ability, judgment, and long-form storytelling matter more. We can provide the product context and verified evidence. What This Is Not This is not a position for someone who: Uses the same hook and section template for every video Writes polished essays that sound unnatural aloud Adds unsupported earnings claims or invented personal experiences Summarizes the topic without developing a compelling viewing experience Copies the reference creator’s language Delivers lightly edited AI output Needs a detailed outline before making any creative decisions You may use AI as part of your workflow, but the finished script must demonstrate human judgment, original thinking, and careful source evaluation. Our Workflow For each assignment, you’ll typically receive: Confirmed title and thumbnail package Target viewer and video objective One primary reference video and transcript Product and audience context Verified claims and proof assets Required CTA Any legal, evidence, or production boundaries You’ll return: A short breakdown of why the reference video works A proposed beat map for our adaptation The complete spoken script Notes identifying required proof or screen captures Any claims that still require verification One revision following founder feedback The spoken script must remain clean. Production directions and research notes should be separate from the narration. Paid Trial Assignment Selected applicants will receive the same paid trial assignment. The trial will test your ability to: Analyze a proven reference transcript Transfer its structure to a new trading/fintech topic Write a compelling opening Maintain a natural friend-to-friend voice Create meaningful progression without repetitive formulas Work responsibly with financial claims and evidence We are not looking for free sample work. Finalists will be paid for the trial. If the trial goes well, this can become consistent ongoing work.
