YouTube Video Editor Needed for Small Production Team

Summary

I run a small media production company and we’re looking to add a video editor to our team. Right up top I want to be clear: I'm looking for someone long-term, someone who meshes well with myself and the team. I need someone I can rely on, someone I don't have to micro-manage, someone I know I can trust. For now, this role will primarily focus on car-related content for YouTube (builds, diagnostics, talking heads/explainers). We have other projects including some pretty high-profile ones that will be starting back up at the end of summer. What we’re looking for: -True YouTube Pacing & Storytelling: You understand retention, sound design, and how to hold attention in automotive and lifestyle content without relying on tacky, over-the-top template transitions. -Context-Driven Editing: You intuitively match the tone and edit style to the specific project (automotive build vs. commercial ad vs. podcast). -Reliable Communication: Consistent updates in ClickUp, proactive flagging of bottlenecks, and advance notice for out-of-office time. -Uses Premiere (unfortunately we're too deep in it to switch to Resolve). Bonus Points: -Above average color grading skills -Above average audio engineering skills -Ability to design clean, on-brand motion graphics -Experience as a producer -Can provide feedback on other projects for improvement -Experience using ClickUp for project management -Read this entire post -Include your all-time favorite car at the top of the proposal Please include examples of your work in your proposal and a list of your contributions to the project (videography, editing, color grading, custom graphics, etc). I'll be providing a paid test project for those I think might be a good fit. Side note - I know most everyone will use AI to write their proposal in some form, but if it's just a copy and paste right out of Claude, I will not be responding to your proposal.
