YouTube & Website Owners for Paid AI Search Study

We're running a paid research study on how YouTube metadata affects visibility in AI search tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews). We're looking for 2 channel owners — this is not content creation work; we're paying for access to an existing YouTube channel and a website on your own domain, plus about 2-3 hours of your time spread over 90 days. You'll apply captions, descriptions, and chapters we provide to 5 videos, add a few simple transcript pages we supply to your website, and leave 10 selected videos completely untouched (no edits, no promotion) for 90 days while we track results. Fixed price $100 per person, paid across three milestones at setup, day 30, and day 60. **Hard requirements (please do not apply unless all four are true):** 1. You own a website on your own domain (not a Linktree, not a social profile) and can add a few simple HTML pages to it, or let us walk you through it. 2. You can grant Google Search Console access for that domain (view access at minimum). 3. Your YouTube channel has at least 10 informational, tutorial, or how-to videos that are each at least 90 days old. 4. Those videos currently use YouTube's auto-generated captions (you have not uploaded custom captions). **What you will do:** - We select 10 of your videos together. We supply professionally cleaned captions, rewritten descriptions, and chapters for 5 of them; you apply the changes (about an hour, or grant editor access and we apply them for your approval). - You add about 5 simple transcript pages we provide to your website (static HTML, we provide the files, roughly 30 minutes). - You leave all 10 selected videos completely untouched for 90 days: no edits to titles, descriptions, thumbnails, or captions, and no promotion pushes (no new posts linking to them, no ads). - You confirm status at three checkpoints: setup, day 30, day 60. Each is a short message exchange. **What we pay:** $100 fixed price per person, split into three milestones: [1/3] at setup complete, [1/3] at day-30 checkpoint, [1/3] at day-60 checkpoint. Milestones exist because the untouched-for-90-days part is the thing we are paying for. **What we do not need:** editing, filming, thumbnails, or any new content. Your channel and website remain fully yours; every change is visible to you before it goes live, and you can revert everything after the study ends. **About us:** a small product research team studying how video metadata affects AI search results.
