I’m looking for a talented and creative video editor to help turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality YouTube Reels/Shorts. The ideal editor understands how to create content that hooks viewers quickly, keeps attention, and feels native to YouTube’s short-form format. What you’ll be doing: -Edit raw video footage into engaging YouTube Reels/Shorts -Create strong hooks and fast-paced edits -Add captions, graphics, sound effects, music, and transitions -Identify the best moments and turn them into compelling short-form clips -Format videos for YouTube Shorts -Maintain a consistent visual style across videos What I’m looking for: -Experience editing YouTube Shorts -Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention -Ability to make videos feel polished, modern, and engaging -Ability to make videos engaging enough to bring in more subscribers and hook viewers to click/watch the main video -Familiarity with tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar -Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines -A strong portfolio of short-form work Bonus: Experience creating viral or high-retention content and an understanding of YouTube analytics and trends.
