We partner with ambitious clients on complex projects across Adobe Commerce, Shopify, WordPress, and emerging digital technologies. About the Role: We are looking for a UX-focused E-commerce Designer to design a transactional e-commerce storefront for one of our clients — the shopping experience customers browse and buy on. You will craft product and category pages and end-to-end shopping flows that turn visitors into buyers through intuitive, engaging design. Key Responsibilities: • Design the UX and UI of a transactional e-commerce website (product and category pages, checkout, and the overall shopping flow). • Apply conversion optimization principles to turn visitors into customers through smooth, engaging design. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma. • Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation and design production. • Present and rationalize design decisions directly to the client. • Collaborate closely with the delivery team. Requirements: • Proven UX expertise, specialized in transactional / e-commerce websites. • Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO). • Expert-level proficiency in Figma. • Hands-on use of AI tools within the design workflow. • Minimum 5 years of e-commerce design experience. • Strong presentation and communication skills; comfortable representing the company in front of clients. • A portfolio of e-commerce websites. Nice to Have: • Agency experience. • Bilingual (English / French). Location: Canada, preferably Montreal, or the US. We are also open to candidates based in French-speaking countries or elsewhere who can reliably overlap EST business hours. Contract & Duration: Freelance, full-time — 30–40 hours per week. Approximately a 2-month engagement, starting mid-August (possibly September); two months either way Hiring Process: 1. Submit your e-commerce portfolio. 2. Portfolio review and shortlisting by HM. 3. HR screening with the Recruiter. 4. 1-hour interview with HM. 5. 30-minute final conversation COO.
