# Corvette C6 Parts Designer Needed (STEP Files Required) I'm looking for an experienced CAD designer with automotive design experience to create OEM-style replacement and customizable parts for a 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette (C6). This will be an ongoing relationship, as I have multiple parts I would like designed over time. ## Initial Parts ### 1. Fender Badges * Recreate the factory-style fender badges (similar to the Grand Sport badges). * Design should allow me to easily customize the text, logos, or other features later. * Dimensions should closely match OEM mounting locations. ### 2. Under-Hood Fuse Panel Cover * Design a replacement fuse panel cover that fits the factory location. * The cover should be customizable so I can add different logos, text, or graphics for future product variations. * Fitment should match OEM as closely as possible. ## Deliverables The following files are required for every completed design: * Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) * **STEP (.step/.stp) file** (required) * STL file for 3D printing * Any reference sketches used during the design process The STEP file is mandatory because I will be making modifications and creating custom versions in the future. ## Requirements * Experience designing parts for 3D printing. * Ability to create dimensionally accurate parts from measurements, photos, or OEM references. * Familiarity with automotive trim pieces is a plus. * Clean, well-organized parametric models are preferred. ## Future Work If the first projects go well, I have many additional Corvette parts I'd like designed, including: * Interior trim pieces * Console accessories * Engine bay accessories * Storage solutions * Custom badges * Other OEM-style replacement parts I'm looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship rather than a one-time project.
