I am developing a new sweetener company I would like to create a very professional looking website
Worldwide
Additional Website Requirements Important Development Requirements In addition to the pages and content described above, the website should be built with the following requirements in mind: 1. B2B Lead Generation Is the #1 Priority The primary purpose of the website is to generate leads from food, beverage, supplement, bakery, confectionery, dairy, and other manufacturers. Throughout the website, there should be prominent calls to action such as: Request a Free Sample Request Pricing Request Technical Information Speak With Our Sweetener Team Interested in Switching Your Current Sweetener? A manufacturer should never have to search for how to contact us. 2. "Switch Your Sweetener" Section We would like a prominent section specifically targeting manufacturers that already use another sweetener. For example: Already Using a Sweetener? Let Us Build a Better Solution. A manufacturer should be able to tell us: What sweetener they currently use Current usage percentage Desired sweetness level Product/application Approximate annual volume What they want to improve: taste, aftertaste, cost, calories, formulation, etc. Our team can then recommend or develop the appropriate strength/formulation. 3. Easy Content Management Our staff must be able to easily update the website without needing a developer every time. We should be able to add or change: Products Sweetness strengths Package sizes Pricing, if pricing is displayed Manufacturer/customer logos Application categories Product photographs Technical documents FAQs Certifications News or announcements 4. Scalable Product System Please do not build every product and sweetness strength as a completely separate custom page. The website should use a scalable product/database structure so we can easily add new strengths, package sizes, formulations, and applications in the future. 5. Professional Manufacturer Customer Showcase The "Manufacturers Using Our Sweetener" section should be expandable to potentially hundreds of companies. We should be able to upload a company's: Logo Company name Product Product photograph Category Website link The system should eventually allow visitors to filter manufacturers by application/category. 6. Interactive Sweetener Comparison Where possible, the comparison section should be more than a basic table. We would like professional visual charts comparing our sweetener against: Sugar • Monk Fruit • Stevia • Allulose • Erythritol • Sucralose • Other Sweetening Systems The administrator should be able to update the comparison information later. All technical, nutritional, regulatory, or performance claims should be editable and should only be published after we approve the supporting information. 7. Sample & RFQ Lead Management Every Request a Sample and Request a Quote submission should: Be emailed immediately to our sales team Be saved in the website/database Identify which product or strength the customer was viewing Capture the company and contact information Capture estimated volume Capture their current sweetener Capture their application The website should also be designed so these leads can later be connected to a CRM or email marketing system. 8. Mobile & Desktop The website must look excellent on: Desktop Laptop Tablet Mobile phone Even though our primary customers are businesses, many potential customers will first open the website from an email on their phones. 9. SEO & Google The website should be properly structured for search engines from the beginning. Pages should be optimized around relevant searches such as natural sweetener blends, bulk natural sweeteners, sugar alternatives for manufacturers, high-intensity natural sweeteners, sweetener concentrates, bulk sugar replacement, and related searches. The website should also have proper page titles, descriptions, image optimization, sitemap, analytics, and search-engine indexing. 10. Speed & Security The website should: Load quickly Use SSL/HTTPS Have spam protection on forms Have automatic backups Follow good website security practices Use optimized images and graphics 11. Analytics We want analytics installed so we can understand: Number of visitors Where visitors came from Most viewed products Most viewed sweetness strengths Sample requests Quote requests Contact-form submissions Which pages generate the most B2B inquiries 12. Future Expansion The website should be designed so we can later add: Additional sweetener formulations Additional retail products Private-label services Custom formulation services Distributor information International distributors Additional languages E-commerce Customer login/portal Technical document library Sample tracking These features do not necessarily need to be built immediately, but the website architecture should not make them difficult to add later. Most Important Goal for the Designer When a purchasing manager, R&D professional, food scientist, product developer, or company owner visits the website, we want them to immediately understand: This is not simply another tabletop sweetener brand. We are developing a proprietary natural sweetening system for manufacturers, available in multiple sweetness concentrations and commercial formats. The website should create enough credibility and interest that a manufacturer currently using another sweetener thinks: "I want to test this in my product." That should be the central objective behind the design, wording, graphics, comparison charts, and calls to action throughout the entire website.
