The commissioning party seeks an experienced C++/Qt/computer-vision developer or development team to create a focused Windows desktop application that automatically aligns pre-existing vector cut jobs to pre-printed material using camera-detected registration marks, then delivers the corrected job to a compatible Ruida laser controller. This project is not a replacement for LightBurn, RDWorks, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or a general-purpose laser design package. The desired production workflow is intentionally narrow: Detect -Register - Verify - Cut. 2. Project Objectives Allow an operator to place printed material on the laser bed without precise manual alignment. Use a fixed overhead camera to locate predefined circular or concentric fiducial marks. Map camera coordinates to calibrated machine coordinates. Calculate the geometric transformation required to align the cut geometry to the actual printed material. Overlay transformed cut paths on the captured camera image for operator verification. Quantify alignment error and block cutting when configurable tolerances are exceeded. Transmit the transformed vector job to the selected Ruida controller and provide basic frame/start/pause/stop functions. Provide a simple production interface suitable for non-technical operators.
