SEEKING PART-TIME EVENT PLANNER / PROGRAM MANAGER time commitment 5-10 hrs/week available for regular phone calls (I live in California, but can be flexible on timing) REQUIRED - fluent spoken and written English - event planning of university forums Project management (scope, timelines, dependencies, run-of-show) Spreadsheet competence (tracking of guests and speakers) Emails and phone calls to line up guests and speakers Clear written communication (briefs, schedules) Verbal communication & facilitation (meetings, MC coordination) Event design thinking (journey mapping) Programming & content curation (agenda architecture, speaker/session fit) - technical skills - Microsoft Office Products - AI tools / skills to automate tasks - Claude, GPT, or Gemini OPTIONAL - Web skills - Wordpress (knowledgeable or willing to learn) - math / financial literacy (able to estimate, basic understanding of finance) REQUEST Please send resume, transcript, and short description of your career goal.
