BIM Coordinator

Must be currently located in the U.S Must have strong English communication skills We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to take over the BIM coordination responsibilities for a small MEP + Structural project. This is a hands-on coordination role focused on managing the BIM process, coordinating disciplines, identifying and resolving clashes, and maintaining the federated model. Scope of Work The selected BIM Coordinator will be responsible for: BIM Kickoff: Review project BIM requirements and coordination procedures Establish the coordination workflow and model exchange process Coordinate with the project team and establish responsibilities Weekly BIM Coordination: Lead weekly coordination meetings Review coordination progress and outstanding issues Run regular clash detection/coordination checks Track and communicate clashes and coordination issues Follow up with the responsible trades/disciplines Federated Model Management: Maintain and update the federated coordination model Combine discipline models and monitor model quality Review model updates and ensure proper coordination Maintain organized coordination files and issue tracking BIM Sign-Off & Closeout: Manage the BIM sign-off process Confirm that coordination issues have been resolved Assist with final model review and coordination approval Support BIM closeout and final model/document delivery Modeling work will be handled by our office. You will primarily be responsible for BIM coordination and BIM management, rather than production modeling. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the coordination process, communicating with project participants, and keeping the project moving toward a coordinated and signed-off model. Ideal Candidate Strong experience as a BIM Coordinator / MEP BIM Coordinator Experience with MEP coordination Strong knowledge of Revit and Navisworks Experience running clash detection and coordination meetings Understanding of federated models and BIM coordination workflows Experience with BIM sign-off and project closeout Strong communication and issue-tracking skills Able to work independently and take ownership of the coordination process Long-Term Opportunity This is a small project, but we are looking for someone who can become a reliable long-term BIM coordination partner. Our company works on larger MEP BIM projects across U.S and EU, and if this project goes well, there is potential for ongoing work on larger and more complex projects.
