𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 • Step 1: Submit your proposal & resume • Step 2: Screening call • Step 3: Background check • Step 4: Small paid pilot project to calibrate fit, before transitioning to an hourly engagement on a longer-term basis 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 Brain Co. is building the world's first AI-native permitting system, and we need experienced permitting professionals to help us get it right. As a Building Permitting SME, you will QA and correct AI-generated outputs — fixing mislabeled data and grading agent performance — and help us understand how permit reviewers interpret and apply permitting requirements. We are looking for someone who can commit approximately 5–10 hours per week for an initial 3–4 months, with the opportunity to extend based on mutual interest and project needs. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼 • QA and correct labeling - Review AI-generated outputs, fix mislabeled data, and grade agent performance against what a real permit reviewer would conclude • Interpret permitting checklists - Given a permitting checklist, tell us how a permit reviewer would actually interpret and apply each requirement • Trace requirements rule to its source - For checklist requirements, tell us whether it's county/jurisdiction-specific or state-specific, whether it can be traced back to the IRC or other broad residential model codes, and if not, where in state building codes it originates 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 • ICC certified • USA-based. 2+ years of experience minimum; 5+ years strongly preferred. • Deep knowledge of how permitting actually works in Arizona, California, Florida, or Texas. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 • Certified Plan Examiner (CPE) or Certified Building Official (CBO).
