Coaster Furniture to Shopify API Sync

Job Post: Coaster Furniture → Shopify Product Sync (SKU‑Match Model) Project Overview I need a developer to build a Coaster Furniture → Shopify product sync using the Coaster API and Shopify Admin API. This is a SKU‑match sync, meaning: Update Shopify products where SKUs match Coaster Create new Shopify products where SKUs exist in Coaster but not in Shopify Do not delete or modify unrelated Shopify products This is the first supplier integration for my retail operation, and the system must be built in a way that allows adding additional suppliers later. Scope of Work 1. Coaster API Integration Authenticate using my Coaster API key Pull full product catalog including: SKU Title Description Images Pricing Inventory Dimensions Weight Categories UPC / identifiers 2. Shopify API Integration Authenticate using Shopify Admin API (private app) Pull all existing Shopify products and variants Build a SKU index for fast matching 3. Sync Logic If SKU exists in both Coaster and Shopify: Update product title, description, images, pricing, inventory, weight, dimensions, and category If SKU exists in Coaster but not Shopify: Create a new Shopify product with variant, images, inventory item, inventory level, and collections 4. Scheduling Set up automated sync every 30–60 minutes Must run reliably without manual intervention 5. Logging & Error Handling Log all sync actions (created, updated, skipped) Log errors with clear messages Provide a dry‑run mode that logs actions without writing to Shopify 6. Code Quality Requirements Clean, modular code Easy to extend for future suppliers Clear documentation for setup and deployment Deliverables Complete source code Setup instructions Deployment instructions (cron job, serverless, or VPS) Logging system Dry‑run mode One round of revisions after testing Tech Stack (Choose One) I am open to either: Node.js (preferred for Shopify‑native developers) Python (preferred for clean, maintainable data processing) You may choose whichever you are strongest in.
