Editor for Devotional Manuscript

We’re seeking an experienced editor to refine a 60-day devotional manuscript. The manuscript is about 20,000 words, with 60 one-page devotions already written. We need someone who can read every word and improve voice, pacing, flow, and overall consistency across the full manuscript. This role goes beyond proofreading and includes line editing, rewriting, and ghostwriting when needed, while preserving the heart of the original content. Experience with devotional, marriage, or ministry writing is a strong plus. The final manuscript should feel natural, conversational, grounded, and cohesive, without sounding overly polished, preachy, formulaic, or AI-generated. Deadline: final edited manuscript by August 28, 2026.
