Experienced WordPress & Elementor Developer/Designer Needed to Improve Existing Health Website

Hello! I am the founder and owner of Palmetto Health Network (PHN). I am looking for an experienced WordPress/Elementor Web Developer and Designer to join the development team for Palmetto Health Network, a growing health and wellness website. The website has already been developed and has a strong foundation in place. At this stage, I am looking to add another experienced freelancer to the team who can work collaboratively with me and our other web developers/designers as we continue to grow and improve the site. I want to emphasize that this is not a request to rebuild the website from scratch. The primary goal is to bring in an additional developer/designer who can take the time to evaluate the existing website, become familiar with what has already been created, recommend thoughtful improvements, enhance the layout and visual presentation, and help us continue developing PHN into a professional, modern, attractive, and user-friendly health information platform. I am looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, communicates well, shares ideas, and is comfortable working alongside other professionals who have already contributed to the development of the website. What I Need Help With The selected freelancer will primarily assist with: Reviewing the existing WordPress website and identifying opportunities for improvement Improving page layouts and the overall visual presentation Enhancing the homepage, category pages, subcategory pages, and article/post layouts Improving spacing, typography, image placement, content organization, and visual hierarchy Making the site feel more polished, professional, and engaging Improving mobile and tablet responsiveness Enhancing navigation and the overall user experience Creating or improving reusable Elementor sections and templates Helping improve the presentation of health articles and educational content Improving newsletter signup areas, calls-to-action, banners, featured content areas, and related-content sections Making recommendations based on successful health and wellness publishing websites Troubleshooting WordPress/Elementor design or functionality issues when necessary Helping ensure that new design changes do not negatively affect existing functionality or SEO Collaborating with the existing developer rather than unnecessarily replacing or duplicating completed work Palmetto Health Network is being developed as a consumer health and wellness information blog/website covering topics such as: Healthy Living Nutrition Men's Health Women's Health Preventive Health Supplements Healthy Aging Health Products Disease Prevention General Health and Wellness The long-term goal is to build PHN into a high-quality health information and digital publishing platform (Blog/Website) with a strong emphasis on useful and informative content, professional presentation, SEO, reader engagement, newsletters, advertising, and affiliate marketing. What I Am NOT Looking For I am not looking for someone who immediately wants to replace everything that has already been built. A great deal of time and effort has already gone into developing the current website, and I want someone who is willing to first understand the existing site, communicate and collaborate with the current development team, and make thoughtful recommendations before making any major changes. The right freelancer should be able to appreciate and improve what we already have while helping us determine what should be added, modified, enhanced, or redesigned. I am very open to new ideas and suggestions, and I would love to work with someone who can bring their own creativity and experience to the project while also respecting the work that has already been completed. My goal is to build a positive and collaborative development team where everyone can contribute their expertise and ideas toward making Palmetto Health Network the best website it can be.
