Experienced vMix Operator with Own Studio for Live Virtual Events (5+ Projects Required)

About Us We are a Santa Monica-based event production company run by former network TV producers. We produce virtual, hybrid, and in-person conferences with broadcast television discipline. Our clients expect flawless live shows, and so do we. The Role We're looking for a professional vMix operator to run live virtual event productions with us on an ongoing contract basis. You'll be operating vMix from your own studio, managing live streams that integrate with Zoom, and delivering to platforms including BrandLive, Vimeo, and events ticketed through Eventbrite. Hard Requirements (do not apply unless you meet ALL of these) Your own vMix account and license. We are not providing software. Your own fully equipped studio. Professional hardware, reliable high-speed internet, and a dedicated production environment. Not a laptop at a kitchen table. Backup systems. Redundant internet, backup power, and a failover plan. Live events don't get a second take, and neither do you. Minimum 5 completed vMix projects. You will be asked to list them and describe your role. Portfolio links or recordings strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Zoom as a production input (bringing remote speakers into vMix cleanly, managing audio routing). Familiarity with Eventbrite, BrandLive, and Vimeo as event and streaming platforms. Who You Are Professional and calm under pressure. You communicate clearly before, during, and after shows. Technical. You troubleshoot audio, video, encoding, and connectivity issues in real time without hand-holding. Reliable. You show up early for tech checks, every time.
