Mortgage Loan Originator We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Mortgage Loan Originator to originate commercial real estate and residential investment mortgage loans nationwide. This is a production role for someone who knows how to develop relationships, identify viable transactions, structure financing opportunities, and move borrowers from initial conversation through closing. We are building a technology-driven origination platform designed to eliminate much of the administrative work that traditionally slows mortgage originators down. Our residential platform is focused on business-purpose investment real estate financing. What You’ll Do * Prospect and develop relationships with real estate investors, property owners, developers, brokers, attorneys, CPAs, real estate professionals and other referral sources * Generate new commercial and residential investment mortgage opportunities * Quickly determine whether a transaction fits RPC’s lending programs * Structure transactions based on LTV/LTC, DSCR, borrower credit, property cash flow, experience and exit strategy * Present borrowers with financing options and indicative terms * Convert qualified opportunities into accepted quotes and applications * Maintain consistent borrower and referral-source communication * Coordinate with RPC’s underwriting and processing teams * Keep opportunities and borrower activity current within RPC’s CRM * Manage your pipeline from initial qualification through funding * Develop repeat borrowers and referral relationships * Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly production targets What RPC Provides We want originators originating—not spending their day doing administrative work. Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who can produce. Preferred candidates will have: * Mortgage, commercial banking, private lending, real estate finance or business-development experience * Existing relationships with real estate investors, commercial property owners or referral partners * Strong outbound prospecting ability * Understanding of commercial real estate or investment-property lending * Ability to discuss LTV, LTC, DSCR, NOI, debt yield, cap rates and property cash flow * Strong communication and relationship-management skills * Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously * High level of personal accountability * Comfort working within a technology-driven sales environment Existing production and a transferable network are significant advantages. Compensation Base Salary + Commission RPC offers a performance-driven compensation structure designed to reward originators who consistently generate and close business. Compensation may include: * Competitive base salary * Commission on funded transactions * Higher commission tiers for increased production * Additional economics for appropriately priced transactions * Significant upside for high-volume originators Specific compensation will depend on experience, existing production and demonstrated ability to generate business. What Success Looks Like A successful RPC originator doesn’t simply collect leads. You are expected to: Prospect → Qualify → Quote → Convert → Close → Build the Relationship → Generate Repeat Business The goal is to develop a recurring book of borrowers and referral partners capable of producing transactions year after year.
