Publicist For New Media Public Policy Brand

Build the Dream is a brand new national new media campaign making the case that the American Dream isn't dead, it's blocked by restrictive zoning and permitting barriers. Our long form content reaches an audience of 60,000 subscribers, and we're looking for a publicist or booker who specializes in landing guest spots on podcasts to put our founder in front of new audiences at a pace of roughly one booking per week. You would own outreach end to end: building the target list, writing and sending pitches, following up, negotiating, and confirming.. Shows we want to reach span center-right politics, liberty and free market, housing and real estate, personal finance, faith and family, and general interview formats. Once a booking is confirmed, you'd coordinate scheduling with our executive assistant, hand off a short prep brief (host background, audience, format, tech requirements, likely questions), and keep the relationship warm afterward so shows turn into repeat opportunities. We'll want results tracked in a simple shared doc: pitches sent, response rate, bookings landed. You'd be working with an established brand that already has a video essay library, published bylines in national outlets, a podcast, and prior appearances to pitch from, plus a clear angle that isn't crowded. We move fast on approvals and prep materials. Ideal fit has a real track record booking guests, existing producer relationships, and pitch writing sharp enough to survive the first two sentences. Starting as a three month trial with a monthly retainer, with the option to extend based on results.
