What We Need Built A full K–12 restorative justice curriculum, organized into grade bands: • TK–1 • 2–3 • 4–5 • 6–8 • 9–12 For each band, deliverables should include: • Teacher-facing training/implementation manual including core concepts, restorative theory, key practices (circles, mediation, harm-repair conferencing), and action-planning tools • Scripted lesson plans: sequenced units, not just standalone activities, with clear learning objectives tied to restorative competencies (empathy, accountability, communication, conflict repair) • Student-facing materials: reflection sheets, re-entry plan templates, discussion guides, role-play scenarios appropriate to each age band • Family/caregiver resources: plain-language explainers and take-home materials (bilingual English/Spanish preferred) • Assessment & evaluation tools: rubrics or simple data-collection tools administrators can use to track implementation and outcomes Project Structure & Questions 1. Please share 1–2 curriculum samples you’ve written or developed (K–12 preferred). 2. Do you work solo or with an instructional design team? If a team, who else would be involved? 3. What’s your typical turnaround for a single grade-band unit (e.g., a 6–8 module of 8–10 lessons)? 4.
