SEO Specialist for Electrical and Excavating Brands

We're looking for an experienced SEO specialist to manage ongoing on-site SEO for two clients in the home services/contracting space; one in the electrical industry and one in excavating. Both are local/regional service businesses that rely on their website to generate qualified project quote requests. This is an ongoing engagement (not a one-time project). We estimate 6–8 hours per month across both accounts combined. The candidate should be comfortable being client-facing/presentable, as there may be direct interaction with client stakeholders. We currently use Adaptify for SEO management and would like to continue with it unless you can make a strong, well-reasoned case for an alternative approach or toolset. Scope of Work - Keyword, market, and competitive research for each client's industry and service area - Development and implementation of an on-site SEO plan using Adaptify (integrated with WordPress) - Content strategy informed by initial research to support ranking goals (e.g., topic cluster model) - Put Adaptify to work generating and publishing SEO content automatically based on the strategy. Content is produced and posted to the client's WordPress site through the platform on an ongoing basis - Review and refine Adaptify-generated content and strategy as needed to keep it aligned with ranking goals - SEO optimization of any additional content provided directly by the client or agency (delivered via Google Docs) Qualifications - 2+ years of experience successfully developing and executing on-site SEO strategies - Thorough understanding of search engine optimization best practices - Experience with industry-standard SEO tools - Strong keyword research skills - Ability to complete competitive analysis of other companies within an industry to inform on-site SEO strategy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (comfortable on email and phone)
