Screenwriter for Historical Streaming-Series Pilot

We are seeking an experienced screenwriter to develop and write the pilot for a historical drama intended as a streaming series. Centered on a historical gold-mining town, the project is set within the period from approximately 1850 to 1910. It follows an unconventional lead and offers a fresh perspective on the American West. The pilot will launch a planned two-season prequel series connected to an existing feature screenplay. The ideal candidate will have experience with serialized television, historical drama, Western settings, or similarly research-intensive material. The selected screenwriter must write the screenplay personally, without the use of generative AI.
