Security Administrator - SOC 2 Compliance & AI Data Governance

We are a finance and accounting services firm. We provide outsourced finance and accounting support to growing businesses and we also deploy embedded teams that help organizations' finance departments modernize and automate their workflows, including through AI implementation. We are looking for a US-based Security Administrator to help us maintain and strengthen our security posture across core platforms. What you'll do: - Monitor and configure security settings across platforms and other SaaS tools used by our team - Support ongoing SOC 2 compliance — help maintain controls, evidence collection, and audit readiness -Strong SOC 2 experience, ideally with professional services firms (accounting, finance, or consulting) — you know how to handle SOC 2 compliance for organizations like ours -Understanding of security for AI tools and agents — both securing them within a SOC 2 environment and configuring them for deployment with SOC 2–compliant clients - Enforce security policies and best practices across the organization, including contractor access management - Work with our team to define and implement data security configurations for client engagements, including AI-related work — requirements vary by client, so you'll need to assess needs and recommend the right approach - Flag risks, recommend improvements, and help us stay ahead of emerging security concerns - Help establish and maintain security protocols for our contractor workforce What we're looking for: - Based in the US (required) - Familiarity with SOC 2 framework and compliance workflows -Support SOC 2 compliance on both sides of our business: maintaining our own compliance posture, and defining security configurations for AI tools and agents deployed with SOC 2–compliant clients - Understanding of data security principles as they relate to financial data and client data handling - Strong communicator who can translate security requirements into actionable configurations - Comfortable working independently and adapting to varying client requirements - Experience managing security in environments with large contractor teams is a plus Nice to have: - Prior work in a consulting, finance, accounting, or client-facing environment
