Shopify Website Design

We are seeking an experienced Shopify designer and developer to finalize and launch a professional e-commerce website for The Henry Boys™, a children’s educational brand. Our first product is a hands-on measurement learning kit that includes an interactive board book, child-safe tape measure, and dry-erase marker. We have already selected and installed a Shopify theme, so this is not a full website build from scratch. We need someone who can customize the theme, organize the content, add the appropriate product information, and turn the existing template into a polished, trustworthy, conversion-focused storefront. The ideal contractor will have a strong portfolio of Shopify stores they have personally developed and can demonstrate experience improving both search visibility and customer conversion. Scope of Work The selected contractor will: Customize and finalize our selected Shopify theme Build a polished homepage that clearly communicates the product’s value Create and optimize the product page Add product images, descriptions, pricing, benefits, and “What’s Included” content Develop sections such as About the Brand, How It Works, FAQs, shipping, returns, contact, and other necessary store policies Ensure the website is easy to navigate and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop Improve page layout, calls to action, trust elements, and overall conversion flow Complete foundational on-page SEO, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, URLs, and internal linking Optimize image sizes and site performance Configure or confirm basic Shopify settings needed for launch Connect analytics and tracking tools, where applicable Test the customer journey from landing page through checkout Provide recommendations for improving SEO, conversion, and the overall customer experience We will provide the brand materials, product information, product images, and access to the selected Shopify theme. Required Experience Please apply only if you have: Proven experience designing and launching Shopify storefronts A portfolio of professional, conversion-focused e-commerce websites Experience with product-page optimization and conversion-rate best practices Demonstrated knowledge of Shopify SEO Strong attention to detail, especially with written content, images, pricing, and product information Experience creating mobile-responsive Shopify websites The ability to make thoughtful recommendations rather than simply filling in a template Clear communication and the ability to complete revisions accurately Experience working with children’s products, educational products, books, toys, or single-product brands is a plus.
