Short-Form Video Editor & Scriptwriter for Tech Founder (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

ABOUT THE ROLE: I am the founder of Advokit (a health-tech platform helping patients manage appointments, prep for doctor visits, and navigate their healthcare). Check out our site here: https://www.myadvokit.ai. I want to take a founder-forward content approach to share behind-the-scenes insights about how healthcare works and how to advocate for yourself. I have plenty of content ideas, but I need a creative partner to help with execution—specifically turning raw ideas into hooks/scripts, giving me clear filming instructions, and editing the raw footage into highly engaging short-form videos. I'd like to start with a short engagement, but there's potential to convert to a longer-term engagement if we work well together! WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: - Scripting & Hooks: Take my raw ideas/themes and turn them into punchy 30–60 second scripts with strong visual/verbal hooks for the first 3 seconds. - Filming Direction & Shot Lists: Tell me exactly what to film each week (e.g., "Film 30s talking head reading script, then 5s b-roll of you typing at your laptop/reviewing notes"). - Post-Production Editing: Edit raw video clips into polished videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. - Pacing & Polish: Add dynamic text/captions, smooth pacing, sound design, and subtle visual overlays (screen recordings, product UI snippets, b-roll) to maximize watch time. WHO YOU ARE: - Proven experience scripting and editing talking-head/founder content (not just generic e-commerce ads or gaming clips). - Expert understanding of hook psychology, platform-native pacing, and retention tactics on IG/TikTok/Shorts. - Strong communicator who can teach me what works, provide direction, and take an active role in brainstorming with me. - Experience creating content that resonates with women.
