I’m looking for an experienced video editor to create a polished, high-energy 2–3 minute introduction video that will play immediately before I take the stage for keynote speeches. The goal is to create a compelling highlight reel that quickly introduces me, my work, and some of the media and projects I’ve been involved with. The finished video should build excitement and credibility and leave the audience energized for the keynote. Scope of Work The editor will: Review past interviews, television appearances, talk show segments, commercials, news features, and other video content featuring me. Source footage primarily from YouTube and other publicly available platforms. I can also provide links or files for specific clips when needed. Select the strongest, most engaging moments from these appearances. Edit the footage into a cohesive 2–3 minute keynote intro video with a strong opening, engaging pacing, and memorable ending. Incorporate clips from a variety of projects and appearances rather than focusing too heavily on one interview or source. Add music, transitions, titles, graphics, sound design, and other elements as appropriate to give the video a professional, cinematic feel. Ensure that dialogue from interviews and appearances is clear and that the overall audio levels are balanced. Deliver a high-resolution final video suitable for playback on large screens at conferences and speaking events. Creative Direction I want the video to feel inspiring, exciting, polished, and energetic. It should not feel like a traditional biography or documentary. Think of it more as a keynote speaker hype video or media highlight reel that gives the audience a quick sense of who I am, what I’ve accomplished, and why they should be excited for the presentation that is about to begin. The editor should be comfortable creatively weaving together short sound bites, visual moments, media appearances, commercials, and other footage so the finished piece tells a story rather than simply being a compilation of clips. Ideal Candidate I’m looking for someone who: Has strong video editing and storytelling skills. Has experience creating speaker reels, trailers, highlight videos, sizzle reels, or similar short-form content. Knows how to identify the strongest moments within longer interviews and videos. Can create an engaging edit that builds momentum throughout the 2–3 minutes. Has a strong sense of music, pacing, sound design, and visual storytelling. Can take creative initiative while also incorporating feedback and revisions. Final Deliverable: One professionally edited, approximately 2–3 minute keynote introduction video, delivered in a high-resolution format appropriate for conference and event playback. When applying, please include examples of similar sizzle reels, speaker introductions, trailers, or highlight videos you have edited.
