Location: United States (EST time preferred) Contract Type: Consulting / Part Time / Project-Based Industry: Fashion (Menswear & Womenswear) Client: European Luxury Brand (Italian) We are an international consulting firm supporting European fashion and lifestyle brands in their expansion into global markets. For one of our Italian clients—an established premium brand—we are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in the U.S. fashion ecosystem. The U.S. Market Entry & Business Development Specialist will guide and accelerate the brand’s entry into the American market. This role requires a senior professional with consolidated experience in menswear and womenswear, strong commercial acumen, and an established network across buyers, retailers, department stores, specialty boutiques, and fashion showrooms. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a U.S. market entry strategy tailored to the brand’s positioning. • Identify and secure high-quality retail partners, showrooms, and sales channels. • Introduce the brand to relevant buyers, agents, distributors, and fashion industry stakeholders. • Support wholesale development, pricing strategy, and seasonal sales planning. • Provide insights on U.S. consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and market trends. • Facilitate participation in trade shows, showroom presentations, and market weeks. • Advise on operational aspects such as logistics, compliance, and importation requirements (as needed). Required Experience & Qualifications • Minimum 7 years of experience in the U.S. fashion industry (menswear and womenswear). • Proven track record of helping European or international brands successfully enter and grow in the U.S. market. • Strong network of buyers, retailers, showrooms, and fashion agents across key U.S. cities (NYC, LA, Miami, etc.). • Deep understanding of wholesale dynamics, retail partnerships, and brand positioning. • Ability to work independently, strategically, and with a results driven mindset. • Excellent communication skills and cultural fluency when working with European teams. • Knowing Italian is a plus, but not required
