Market Research for New Business-Construction Industry

Description: We're validating a new product for contractors in the construction industry and need someone who can conduct real, live interviews — not desk research, not surveys, not AI-generated summaries. What we need: Recruit and conduct 15–25 one-on-one phone or video interviews with general contractors / subcontractors / specific trades. Record (with consent) and provide either full transcripts or detailed notes per interview. Deliver a synthesized summary of themes, patterns, and direct quotes at the end. This is NOT: A desk research or internet-summary job. A survey-writing job. Something that can be done by scraping forums or review sites. Required experience: Proven track record conducting live qualitative interviews (not just surveys) — please describe a specific past project in your application. Experience recruiting B2B or SMB participants for research (construction, trades, or similar hard-to-reach audiences is a strong plus). Comfortable with cold outreach/recruiting — we need someone who can actually get contractors to say yes to a call, not just wait for responses. Access to a recording/transcription tool (Zoom, Otter.ai, Grain, etc.).
