Motion Graphics Designer - freelance pool

We are an independently owned ad/creative agency located in Boise, Idaho and we're looking to build a roster of talented motion graphics artists who are able to jump in on a variety of projects. We're looking not only for talent, but great communication and follow-through. Our Creative team is best-in-class, and we build long-term relationships with artists who are excited, reliable, and easy to work with. Specific skills and abilities include: • Strong eye for detail and visual polish • Experience animating 2D characters • Proficient in Adobe After Effects + Illustrator • Character rigging ability (rubberhose style rigs) • Ability to use music/sound cues to inform cut-timing and animation beats • Ability to self-QC work for spelling, timing, color, and overall client-readiness • Comfortable asking clarifying questions rather than guessing when a brief is unclear • Reliable communication (can give status updates without being chased) • Eye for negative space and hierarchy, knows what the viewer should look at first, second, and third • Ability to 'tween' keyframes prompts and work in a self-guided capacity • Strong visual dexterity with a wide range of natural movement styles and flow
