Video Editor for Narrative Performance Ads — Golf Fitness Brand
Only freelancers located in the U.S. may apply.U.S. located freelancers only
Description Golf Fit is a golf-specific fitness brand — we build personalized weekly training plans that fix the physical limitations holding back a golfer's swing. We're moving our paid social ads from static headline cards to short narrative video ads, and we need an editor to bring five scripted concepts to life. This is an editing job, not a production job. All footage already exists — course footage, workout/training clips, and screen recordings of our assessment, report, and weekly training plan. There is no shoot involved. We need someone who can assemble existing clips into a tight, story-driven 30-second ad with on-screen text (no voiceover), then cut a 15-second version for prospecting. Each concept follows a simple 4-beat structure: a relatable pain point → a reframe/reveal → our product mechanism (assessment → plan → training) → a payoff and CTA. Full scripts, shot-by-shot beats, and on-screen copy are provided for every concept — you won't be writing or guessing at pacing. Scope of Work Phase 1 (paid pilot — start here): Build one reusable motion-graphics template matching our existing ad system: black background, bold white sans-serif headlines, logo lockup, consistent text-in/text-out style, CTA end card. Cut Concept 1 ("It's Not Your Swing") as a:30 master +:15 cutdown using the provided script and footage. Deliver in four sizes: 1080×1080, 1080×1350, 1080×1920, 1920×1080. Phase 2 (if Phase 1 tests well — same rate, follow-on work): Cut the remaining four concepts using the same template and footage library. Each: 30 master +:15 cutdown, same four export sizes. Cut a 6-second retargeting bumper from each concept's reveal beat. What We'll Provide Raw footage: course, workouts/training clips Screen recordings: assessment flow, results report, weekly training plan UI Brand assets: logo files, color codes, approved fonts Full scripts and beat-by-beat shot lists for all five concepts Reference examples of our current static ad system for style match What We're Looking For Proven experience editing short-form social/performance ads (DTC, fitness, or similar direct-response category preferred) Strong sense of pacing for scroll-stopping:15–:30 video — sound-off friendly, text-driven Comfortable building a clean, reusable motion-graphics/title template in your tool of choice (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut Pro, etc.) Can work efficiently from a provided script/shot list without needing creative direction on structure Please include 2–3 examples of similar narrative or direct-response social ads you've cut. Budget Fixed price per milestone, to be agreed before work begins: Template build + Concept 1 (:30 +:15): target range $500–$1,000 Each additional concept (:30 +:15), if we proceed to Phase 2: target range $200–$350 Open to proposals outside this range if your portfolio justifies it — please quote based on the scope above. How to Apply Send a short note plus 2–3 links to relevant work (narrative or direct-response social ads, ideally sound-off/text-driven). Let us know your estimated turnaround for the Phase 1 pilot.
