Senior Full Stack Developer (JavaScript / PHP)

Help shape one of the world's leading online music platforms. Virtual Piano has been played by over 200 million people in the past 20 years, and we're looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to help us evolve the platform. You'll work on our custom JavaScript application and WordPress platform, building new features, improving performance and helping shape the future of a platform enjoyed by millions around the world. Tech Stack - JavaScript - PHP - WordPress - MySQL - HTML/CSS - Cloudflare - REST APIs What You'll Do - Improve and extend our custom browser-based piano platform. - Build exciting new features. - Optimise performance, scalability and security. - Refactor and modernise legacy code where appropriate. - Integrate third-party APIs and services. - Help shape the long-term technical direction of the platform. About You - Strong JavaScript and PHP developer. - Comfortable working within an established codebase. - Writes clean, maintainable and well-documented code. - Proactive, reliable and enjoys solving challenging technical problems. - Excellent written English and clear communication. This initial milestone is a brief familiarisation with the platform, upgrades to: WordPress, PHP version and Plugins and any required code. On successful completion, there is a long-term role with ongoing work for the right developer. We're looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of the platform rather than simply complete a project.
