Full-Stack Engineer for Document Automation

The Overview: We are a specialized real estate company looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to build a secure MVP that automates a highly manual data-entry workflow. For the right engineer, this phase 1 contract can transition into a long-term technical lead role. You will receive exact requirements from the business owner and domain expert and report to our part-time Software Engineer, who will handle code reviews and architecture approval. The Deliverable (Phase 1 Scope): Currently, our staff manually types client data into rigid industry software to generate escrow instructions. We are bypassing this. We need you to build: 1. A Secure Intake Form: A responsive secure web form containing specific data fields 2. Backend Calculation Logic: Basic programmatic math to process the inputs 3. Strict Document Generation: The backend must take these processed variables and map them directly into a pre-existing Word/PDF document template. Crucial: The resulting document must maintain pixel-perfect formatting, as these are legal instructions. Note: This Phase 1 MVP must be built cleanly. We are not looking to over-engineer the foundation today. We want a fast, secure win to prove the concept before we move on to Phase 2 (complex document parsing and building a client portal). Requirements: ● Location: US-Based Only. ● Tech Stack: We are flexible (React/Next.js, Node/Python preferred). ● Pragmatism: We need a clean, functional, secure MVP built quickly.
