Abap with Python

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in OData services and Python. You will focus primarily on core SAP backend development, data modeling, and API creation, with opportunities to connect SAP logic to modern cloud and AI tools on AWS. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and optimize backend ABAP objects and custom business logic. • Develop, publish, and maintain secure OData services (v2/v4) for external system integration. • Write Python scripts and API handlers to connect SAP endpoints with cloud microservices. • Collaborate on cloud integration, security, and interface performance tuning. Requirements • Primary (Must-Have): o Strong hands-on ABAP development experience (70%+ of role focus). o Deep expertise in building and exposing OData services (SEGW, RAP, or CAP). o Proficiency in Python for API integration and backend scripting. • Preferred (Nice-to-Have): o Familiarity with AWS Bedrock or AI agent frameworks. o Knowledge of AgentCore Gateway, OpenAPI, or MCP integrations.
