Senior Engineer — Production Launch & Mobile Location: Ontario, Canada About Cadre Cadre is a home-services marketplace built on trust - vetted, background-checked, licensed, and insured providers. The product is built and already live across web and a native mobile shell. What's needed now is the person who takes it from "it works" to a real, launched, production application - on the web and in the App Store and Play Store. What you'll own Production readiness - the pass that turns a working product into one ready for real customers and real money: monitoring and error tracking, a real security review, load testing on the paths that matter, backups that have actually been tested by restoring from them. App store launch, end to end - developer account setup, the platform-specific requirements each store expects before they'll even look at a submission, review cycles, and iterating through whatever comes back the first time. The native mobile side - our product ships to mobile through a lightweight native wrapper around the same web platform; you'll own what that requires - push notifications, device integrations, store compliance - without needing to rebuild the product itself. The judgment calls that come with launching for real - where to invest in resilience now versus later, and what "production-ready" actually means for a marketplace where real homes and real payments are involved. What we're looking for 5+ years as a full-stack or platform engineer, with real experience taking a product through an actual app store launch - not just shipping features, but the unglamorous work of getting something approved and live Comfortable owning both sides of this: web-platform production readiness (monitoring, security, uptime) and mobile distribution (store submissions, native wrapper tooling) Experience with a modern React-based web stack, plus at least one native-wrapping approach (Capacitor, Cordova, or similar) - or the ability to pick it up fast and hands-on. Someone who's actually had an app launched at a store before, and knows how to read what they're really asking for rather than guessing Bonus points You've taken a marketplace or on-demand-services product live before, and understand why "production ready" means something different once real people's homes are involved You've owned a native wrapper around an existing web product rather than a full native rewrite, and know exactly where that tradeoff bites - and where it doesn't
