Founding Engineer / Senior Full-Stack AI Developer About Lumira.tools We're two non-technical founders with backgrounds in creative, product, and sales, building Lumira, an AI platform that helps teachers bring all of their data into one simple workspace. Schools use dozens of disconnected tools every day. Our goal is to connect that data into one platform where educators can ask questions with AI, generate student plans, create project plans, and quickly find the information they need. We've already built a working product demo and have schools interested in onboarding as soon as our MVP is ready. What We Need We're looking for an experienced full-stack developer to take our current Cursor-built demo and turn it into a production-ready MVP. This is more than just building features. We're looking for someone who can help us build a strong technical foundation that can grow with the product. Current Tech Stack * Next.js 16 * React 19 * TypeScript * OpenAI GPT-4o * Supabase * PostgreSQL * Tailwind CSS * Vercel * Sentry * Zod * Upstash Redis * Skyward and Infinite Campus integrations through OneRoster We're happy with this stack but are open to better recommendations if they make sense for the long-term product. Who We're Looking For You should have experience with: * Building SaaS products from MVP to production * AI applications and LLMs * API integrations * Modern TypeScript and React * Scalable backend architecture * Production-ready software How We'll Work The project will be split into milestones with payment after each completed phase. We're looking for someone who communicates well, moves quickly, and takes pride in shipping quality work. If the MVP goes well, we'd love to continue working together long term as Lumira grows.
