Full-Stack Developer – Bank Account Monitoring & Exception Management Application

What We’re Building The system will: • Import recurring account and transaction data from multiple banks • Maintain a centralized database of accounts and related records • Match incoming bank accounts/transactions to records in our system • Compare actual account activity against expected activity • Apply defined business rules to automatically identify exceptions • Flag issues such as: • Missing expected deposits • Missing expected withdrawals • Returned/reversed transactions • Incorrect transaction amounts • Accounts with no expected activity • Unexpected account balances • Unmatched accounts • Allow users to review and manage exceptions • Track exception status, resolution, and history • Generate facility-level exception reports • Provide management-level reporting and summary metrics What We’re Looking For We want someone who can take defined business requirements and own the technical implementation of the application. Strong experience with: • Full-stack application development • SQL and relational database design • Importing and processing financial/transaction data • Scheduled/background data processing • Data matching and reconciliation logic • Business-rule and exception-processing workflows • Building clean internal web applications • Reporting and dashboards • Audit/history tracking Experience working with banking, financial, reconciliation, healthcare, or other transaction-heavy systems is a plus. Technology We are open to discussing the exact architecture and technology stack with the selected developer. Project Expectations We are looking for someone who can do more than simply code individual tickets. You should be comfortable reviewing business requirements, identifying technical questions or gaps, proposing an architecture, designing the database and application flow, and then building the solution. Please include examples of applications you have built involving transaction processing, reconciliation, exception management, financial data, or similar rule-based workflows.
